Casio Men's Digital Compass Twin Sensor Sport Watch #SGW100-1V Review
I wanted to wear a cheap sport watch from Casio, the whole time, even if it acted without being stolen. I like the way this looks, and I like the features, including the backlight, the only numbers - subtle and effective lighting. And it's not too expensive for what it does (I paid $ 43). It is also comfortable to wear.
The compass is a bonus. It is not accurate enough for sailing or rock climbing, but gives me good directions, if I walk or drive around in aArea, not the good I know. The disadvantage is the calibration, it is cumbersome and does not seem very reliable to me. Scouts and the more expensive they do not need all 3 months, so why not this?
The material is not the best either. The housing is made of plastic, which means the gray area in the vicinity of the button, it will probably fade over time. The case back is metal, and fixed with screws - making battery replacement easy. The diaphragm also appears to be metallic, but for surethin.
The only thing I miss is a bit of a database. Each digital clock should be a 20 or 30-page database, you need some phone numbers, in my opinion. And it should not be too hard for Casio, that function to add this clock a few cents more. But it's no big deal, anyway.
Another thing to note is that the button layout from all other casios I had something else, not even before button for the backlight, so that this function is activated from the upper right-hand mouse button. AndSplit / Reset is on the top left.
Do not count on the thermometer. I have never seen a Casio clock shows the right temperature, if I take off my wrist for 20 ~ 30 minutes - and this is no exception. Sun makes no sense.

Countdown Timer isn't full featured. Thermometer is of little value. - Mtnviewer - British Columbia, Canada
Nice to see a total for the price, but I returned it. I did not want or need the thermometer vs. lack of compass, as I do not really see that the thermometer would have no practical value to me. The compass works well and can use declination input.
The size of the clock is good, some of the ads are a bit too small for me. I liked the different alarms and a 2nd Time zone. But the countdown timer, which I wanted, it is much that can be set only in full minutes, not parts of theMinutes. That was the deal breaker for me after trying to change with the full minutes only, but my exercise routine too much work. The manual is not clear how this is not to say that changed the timer to count down from 1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes can be, so I thought that all would include the seconds between as well.
Otherwise for the price it is easier to see than many others out there.
A GREAT WATCH FOR LITTLE MONEY - Sergio Rafael Garcia - CA, USA
Worth every penny, I am pleased with this clock. Casio never not in the quality and durability, this is not my first Casio and for sure it's not the last.
First Casio watch for a Timex fan - LOVE it. - D. Culbreath Jr. - Nashville, TN
had several Timex watches, casio but wanted to try - and I've heard a lot of them. The clock has not disappointed. their world-clock function is very good. have similar functions in the past, but I never used. The thermometer is not 100% accurate - but it is worn in direct contact with the body. the digital compass is helpful, but for some reason, the compass reading, no longer than a few seconds to appear ... then press the compass button and pay attention to. haverecommended that the clock to my friends.
