Cons:
Pressing the Indigo only lights up the watch for about 2 seconds. Would REALLY like an option to set the light to say 2, 5 or 10 seconds (or something like that). The indigo button is also a bit small. I see on some models the button is large and on the face of the watch. I bet this would be more convenient, particularly if you are doing some sort of athletic activity (ie cycling) at night.

I have had this watch for about two years. All the watch functions work fine. I like the display and look.

The band, however, while looking good, is not durable. It breaks where the buckle/clasp is at. The combo
fabric/leather layer band , and large holes for the buckle tang, make for a very weak point.

And to make it worse, the band has a unique way to connect to the case with interlocking plastic/rubber tabs, and 2 screwws.

I have yet to find a replacement band anything like this.

Last, the back seems to bother (skin develops a rash) my skin more than my other watches - it states
stainless but perhaps there are different grades of stainless backs.

My uncle only like digital display watches, he has had for a while and so far he has not had a complain about it. So it is almost useless when you need it most --- in the dark-- because it is hard to find and press. The other buttons (4 more of them!) are small and equally hard to press. So it is difficult to operate this watch with cold or tired figures: so much for being suitable for an "Expedition". Requires many button presses of multiple buttons to find the various functions (timer, stop-watch, alarms, calendar reminder), to set them, and then to start them. Not for the hurried or distracted. Why doesn't Timex bring back the digital watch with a single knob (crown set) : that was so intuitive and easy to use, easy to find, and easy to illuminate the watch too!

I wanted to wear a cheap sport watch from Casio, the whole time, even if it acted without being stolen. I like the way this looks, and I like the features, including the backlight, the only numbers - subtle and effective lighting. And it's not too expensive for what it does (I paid $ 43). The compass is a bonus. It is not accurate enough for sailing or rock climbing, but gives me good directions, if I walk or drive around in aArea, not the good I know. Nice to see a total for the price, but I returned it. I did not want or need the thermometer vs. lack of compass, as I do not really see that the thermometer would have no practical value to me. The compass works well and can use declination input.

The size of the clock is good, some of the ads are a bit too small for me. I liked the different alarms and a 2nd Time zone. But the countdown timer, which I wanted, it is much that can be set only in full minutes, not parts of theMinutes. That was the deal breaker for me after trying to change with the full minutes only, but my exercise routine too much work. The manual is not clear how this is not to say that changed the timer to count down from 1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes can be, so I thought that all would include the seconds between as well.

Otherwise for the price it is easier to see than many others out there.
